Salmon Run: Last Stand (A Splatoon Story)

That is an excellent question Zara. Writing the two chapters where Hook Line and the gang infiltrate the supposed Salmonoid base was the best part of writing this fic. The idea of exploring this otherwise desolate area where the enemy built the operations, and how it got corrupted brought a lot of my senses out, describing the environment the characters went through. I was essentially taking the readers through my own thoughts like what happened here? The action was also fun to write. Taking inspiration from the Splatoon games that I loved helped the creative juices flow.

What part of your fic surprised you in a good way, like wow I did not expect that to land so well?
